A Great Kick Off

A Great Kick Off

More than 60 people showed up to support Councilman Cliff Numark’s candidacy for El Camino Trustee in the Nov. 5 election! Attendees included council members, former council members, other current and former elected officials, as well as city commissioners, homeowner association leaders, business leaders, friends, supporters and two pretty cute kids!

After greeting and socializing, Cliff addressed the group, discussing the position and his goals, including greater access to financial aid, better transitions between high schools and the college, improvements in enabling students to finish community college faster, and enhanced connections between the college and business and other employers to help students get jobs.

Cliff also discussed his accomplishments on the Torrance Council, including finding funds to hire more police officers, instituting an energy efficiency program that saved more than $300,000 annually, and establishing the “Seniors: Don’t Be Scammed” community education program.

Cliff still needs your help! The campaign needs to raise another $5,000 by Sept. 15, and we need volunteers to help reach voters! Please email cliff@cliffnumark.com if you can help!
